Just what I was looking for!<br /><br />Correct me if I'm wrong:<br /><br />Atypical atrial flutter is just a reentry-type version of atrial tachycardia (as opposed to the more common type of atrial tachycardia that is secondary to enhanced automaticity of an ectopic atrial focus - i.e., classical PAT) with the aforementioned reentry circuit occurring around scarred myocardium.<br />Atypical atrial flutter is typically triggered by a well-timed PAC while classical PAT (paroxysmal/unifocal atrial tachycardia) is less so.<br /><br />Is my understanding correct?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
