Pulmonary Embolism on Telemetry


A post-op patient had sudden onset of dyspnea and oxygen saturation is low. What is the possible diagnosis?

During the symptomatic episode, there is sinus tachycardia (~125 bpm or 1500/12) and there is S wave in lea I and there is a Q wave and T wave inversion in lead III or there is S1Q3T3 pattern. It was confirmed that the patient had pulmonary embolism.
